The latest part of the Rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai franchise, Rascal does not dream of a sister venturing out anime flim in Japanese theatres in Summer 2023.
The movie will the cover the Eighth and ninth volume of Seishun Buta Yarou wa Odekake Sister no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out) and Seishun Buta Yarou wa Randoseru Girl no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid), the series of light novels written by Hajime Kamoshida (Just Because!) with illustrations by Keiji Mizoguchi (The pet girl of Sakurasou). Kadokawa has published 11 Volumes in total.

The series will directed by Masui Souichi (Sakura Quest) while script composition is done by Yokotani Masahiro (All Out!!) and Character Design is done by Tamura Satomi (22/7) at the same animation studio “CloverWorks” (Saekano the Movie: Finale) and Aniplex is producing the flim.
The TV anime (Rascal does not dream of bunny girl) aired in 2018 with 13 episodes, and (Rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl) movie aired in 2019, adapted from sixth and seventh volume of the light novel.

Synopsis (Eighth Volume)
After a draining December, Sakuta is quickly nearing the end of his second year of high school. Since Mai is a third-year student, they don’t have much time left together before graduation rolls around. Meanwhile, his sister, Kaede, is slowly but steadily venturing outdoors again. Just as she begins to find her footing, she announces her most ambitious goal yet—attending her brother’s high school! Sakuta knows better than anyone how difficult this will be for Kaede, and he’s ready to support her however he can.
