Episode 1 Tittled ” Have-Nots” starts with the one-sided massacre of Goblins by adventurers as they are trying to protect Merchant from Goblins. On the other hand We see Fate Graphite (Weak and Poor Protagonist) is working on the behalf of Vlerick Family as he worked under them. Due to his Gluttony Skill Fate appetite never Sated .
Holy Knight Rafale from Vlerick family along with his siblings Hado and Memil comes to capital where hado beat a shopkeeper just because he touches his foot. On the Capital gate they beat Fate because he’s loser MC,I believe you should’ve know all the weak to strong Protagonist Cliche by now. But Our Strong and Charming blonde hair Heroine Roxy Hart Saves his butt.
Later At night Fate informs Roxy about thieves, Roxy goes to catch them in between a thief run to fate and fate kills him to help Roxy. Suddenly his Skill Gluttony get activated and he get a new Telepathy Skill along skills of thief. Seeing this Roxy invites Fate to work for her Hart Family.
Next day, Fate goes to buy swords to start his adventure career but as he doesn’t have much money he get a black old Sword from wasted Swords of bucket that turns out to be a Greed (a telepathic sword).
To test his skills Fate kills around 100 goblins which upgrades his Skill and get new Identify Skill too. After getting money from selling goblins ears fate gets plenty of money, but he bumps into a creepy man with a little girl who asked for help as that person drag her away.
Fate decides to go after that person but his identify Skill does not work on him as his Level is very low. We see that little girl is chained with the pole and crying and creep person smiling as he was waiting for someone.
Conclusion
In short, A weakass man at rugs always hungry work as gatekeeper for Bullied family and earns some pockets after getting some token of love. One day activates his cheat skill and reach the top of the society with a charming and badass girl in arms.
Lol, I have got full storyline of the show with the plot, I spoiled this one for You. Leaving that, both the opening & Ending Song are quite good and animation is on the point like, fate getting his ass done with smooth transitions.
Along with nice voiceover of Greed & fate. But for some reason Art keep changing between mid to ok during Fate facing goblins.
